Throughout the last week, I have recorded the amount out of time I have spent on different medias and created a Pie chart by converting the times to percentages. The media I consume the most is the Internet, with social medias like Youtube being the most common due to it being a platform for entertainment. The least consumed media was Newspapers/magazines at 0%. I believe this is because I have very little interest in that form of Media and any information I may need can be searched on the internet, further adding to my use of that media.

From now on, I will focus more on 'traditional' media such as books, newspapers and radio to help round out my media knowledge as my use of 'modern' media is suitable. I will start reading more books and newspapers to help me understand those forms of media more, such as the way they are structured and techniques used to help drawn in consumers. I will consumer more Tabloid papers such as The Daily Mirror. I will also listen to more Radio show such as BBC Radio and Radio X (formerly XFM).While I may have started this later than most, throughout my A-level I aim to achieve a 'rounded' consumption of different medias.
